Have this ready

  • The first day of your last few periods, and how many days each lasted
  • A sense of how heavy the bleeding is: how often you change pads or tampons, and whether you pass clots
  • A list of your medications, including birth control, blood thinners, hormones, and supplements
  • Whether you could be pregnant
  • Any recent lab, Pap test, or ultrasound results
  • Your insurance card and preferred pharmacy

A bleeding diary makes the visit faster and more accurate, even if you start it just a few days before.

Patients under 18

A parent or guardian needs to consent to care and join the start of the visit.

Do not book online for an emergency. If you are soaking a pad or tampon every hour, feel faint, or might be pregnant and are bleeding, call 911 or go to an emergency room.
